Psalm 50:15

“and call on me in the day of trouble;
    I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”

Remember that through your trials whether it be school friends or family struggles God is by your side.

The right respons

We are all faced with frustrating situations. It is easy to become frustrated with a classmate or family member. The right way to respond however is not by producing a quick whitty coment or lash out in anger. Proverbs 15:1 tells us that “a gental turns awya wrath but a harsh word stirrs up anger”. As you go about life facing conflics with other people turn away the wrath of others with a gental answear.

Trust In The Lord

In you, Lord my God,
   I put my trust. I trust in you;
    do not let me be put to shame,
    nor let my enemies triumph over me.
Psalms 25: 1,2
Do not be afraid to reveal to others your faith in Christ. God has the greatest rewards waiting for those who love him. Your enemies materials could never compare to what God has for you who love him.

The Lord Our Comfort

“Even though I walk
    through the darkest valley,[a]
I will fear no evil,
    for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
   they comfort me”

(Psalms 23:4)

During all your experiences how ever challenging or joyful. Fear nothing but the Lord, know that he is with you, have perseverance. Rely on Him for your comfort and peace, He loves you more than every person in your life combined.

Speaking in Tongues

Speaking in tongues is something personal between only you and God. It is sometimes not even understood by yourself. “Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves, but the one who prophesies edifies the church.”(1 Corinthians 14:4) Edifies means to improve when you speak in tongues you are speaking to the Lord and improving your relationship with him and yourself as a person. Speaking in tongues is a blessing we are all temples of the Lord able to connect with God.”I would like every one of you to speak in tongues,”(1 Corinthians 14:5)

To love one another

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.’“1 Corinthians 13:4

It is easy to say I love you to friends and family. But actions speak louder than words. To show love we must stray from our selfish nature. Show true love the way Jesus would with patience and without envy.

Romans 8:10

” But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life” Romans 8:10

It is said here that our bodies will die. Therefore we should nourish our spirits by seeking the face of God. In prayer we will grow closer to God and this will nourish our spirits. We can also nourish our spirits in fellowship, spend time together discuss the word and grow.

1 Chronicles 16:11

“Look to the Lord and his strength;
    seek his face always.” 1 Chronicles 16:11

It is important to look to God when you are in a dark place but also in your highs. Prioritize time with the Lord, seek His face in every moment. Look to him and look to honor him.

John 14:27

”Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

As the quarter ends anxiety may fall upon you remember to find your peace in Christ.
